This pleated pre-filter is designed to filter coarse particles over 5um in size to prolong the life of the AYO WX Main Filter. Unlike traditional flat-piece pre-filter media often seen from other respirators, the AYO WX pre-filter is made in pleated filter media, resulting in multiple times more dust-loading capacities than the air inlet cross-section of the filter allows.

This pleated pre-filter is fitted in the AYO WX Particulate Filter Unit in front of the AYO WX Main Filter in a rubber frame. Replacing the filter requires opening the Filter Unit Door only.

This patented pre-filter helps reduce running costs significantly.
